Can anyone help me connect to Orange broadband via my netgear router?
I have successfully installed the livebox both wired and wireless connections - however am still having a connection problem with the livebox - I lose the internet after about 5 minutes whilst connected wirelessly!!

I have got a netgear router and to be honest would rather use that if possible!

Basic instructions would be most appreciated!!

Should be simple and straight forward,,,

Connect your modem (LAN Cable, Phone Line & Power) and open up your Browser.

Type 192.168.0.1 into the address window and you should be confronted with a Log-in - the default User is "admin" with the Password "password"

A menu page should open and if you select "Basic Setup" on the left hand side you can enter your details, basically all you need to add is your username "username.fsnet.co.uk@fs" (or something similar) and your password.

All other settings should be standard.

Click on "Apply" and you should within seconds be up and running.

Bear in mind that you need the livebox in order to use the talk service .

If you want to use talk then run a network cable from the livebox red ethernet port to one of the ports on the netgear . All you need to do is disable the DHCP on the netgear and it should work fine . Also turn the wifi off on the livebox .

I connected my Belkin to the LiveBox via an RJ45 cable and I am able to connect to both routers. My landline is connected to the Livebox for the Live Talk and I use the Belkin cos it offers connection speed up to 54Mbps whereas, the LiveBox only gets up to about 15 Mbps.

My LiveBox is wired to my PC via a USB to ethernet port.
