I have set up a VPN connection to work and I have no issues connecting using other peoples networks. When I get home and try to use the same connection via my livebox it connects, verifies user, starts to establish connection then i get windows error 720 network protocols do not match. I have tried adding ports in Livebox config but no joy PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP??

I had this problem - could log onto the VPN but the server at the other end would not let me in - the problem was associated to the server at the other end having an IP address of 192.168.1.1.
I resolved the issue by re- assigning the IP address of the Livebox to 192.168.0.1 and all works like a dream

hello, i guess i am having the same problem. how can i re-assign the IP address of the livebox? i tried with the logon "Orange Broadband username" and Orange broadband passwrod" but it doesn't work. is there a another logon maybe standard for every livebox?

It's "admin" you want for both the username and password to log into the livebox.
As for the settings:
Configuration > Advanced > Network
