Well.. orange seem to have their wires crossed or something, easiest way to show this is from this picture i took, and took the liberty to illustrate due to my boredom.. lol
(Click the picture to see it full size to read the highlighted bits properly)
Also i just contacted them about my speed, they admitted that i am getting way too slow speeds for what they know i shouldbe able to get, and now i need to take some speed tests ands try to explain them to some indian who cant understand me, and whom i cant understand either, which is especially difficult due to my accent... so that shouldbe fun...
Line stats, if anyone wants to comment on them..

Noise margin (dB) : 7.0

So i'm synced quite fast, but i just arent getting the speeds.. i also get the same speed during peak and off peak hours so it cant be that..

Actually they've not got their wires crossed at all as that LLU data list isn't from Orange. LLU availablity is somewhat hard to come by, often it's classed as "business sensitive" which is why Samknows and other such checkers often don't have the right info or it lags behind until actual customers confirm what's there.
BTW I believe some checkers report mentioning LLU for orders and provides now. This down to the fact in order to be equal orders, no matter if they're LLU or IPStream all go through the same system.

Sync speeds look ok and margin probably just about right for that speed in order to keep it stable. Defintely LLU as you've got 288kbps upstream.
Out of interest try running through the BT speedtester, not sure if it can cope with LLU lines but still no harm in trying.
Ah right thanks, i might email the guys at dslzone and let them know, yeah the BT speedtester has never worked for me even when i was on ADSL Max, and still doesnt now but i'll keep trying.
Also, Those sync speeds should be giving me roughly 687.5 kB/s, whereas im getting a max of about 350kB/s and thats not even stable, although on ADSL Max i was getting at least 464kB/s steady... and they cant move me off LLU... I'm sure im not the only one who thinks theres something majorly wrong with the system... =\ Just have to wait until Be get here then i'll be moving to those, hopefully due to me being on llu, i'll be able to move alright..
The error i get from the speedtester is:

Well if LLU follows the same sort of data profile system that Max does (I'd assume it does it in either 1/2 meg or 1 meg chunks) then you fall just short of a 5meg line so it would be on a 4.5meg profile. Translates to roughly 540kB/s maximum speed including overheads.

Seems like its because its an LLU line
Probably yeah, although there is the possibility that your number won't go through it for some reason thats unrelated.
Yeah when i was ADSL Max i was told i was on 4.5Meg, and was getting about 464kb/s, yet now im on a supposed higher speeds im getting slower speeds.. hmm... its been confirmed a few times im on 5.5MEg LLU so.. all i can do now is take those test and try and explain them over the phone to some indian who i cant understand and visa versa
Well LLU and ADSL Max are very similar, both the same sort of system going upto 8 meg and rate adaptive so really one shouldn't be much faster than the other.
Yeah, its just strange how my speed dropped when i was put on LLU, my exchange is in really bad shape (congestion), but that shouldnt effect me as im on llu and not BT's network yeah?...
