I emailed Orange a whiel back asking why we have not been upgraded to the 8mb service which was promised when we signed up with wanadoo. The reply was they'd only upgrade if we request it via the member centre (in other words if we agree to another 12 months of a seriously backwards company). I replied saying that it clealry stated that we'd get the fastest speed our line can support, and soon as our exchange could take 8mb (which was 9 months ago) we'd automatically be upgraded. Therfore they are going back on their word. I have since emailed ispa, and had a reply from Orange saying they'll be in touch shortly. So i urge ppl to email ipsa so that they get inundated with complaints and then maybe we'll all get a decent speed before everyone else is able to download 10 dvds a second!
