I've set up my livebox with my main computer using an ethernet cable but now I'm having problems hooking up my laptop to it wirelessly.
When it tries to connect it hangs on the message "Acquiring Network Address".
I've messed about and found that it will connect if I
A) Disable WEP & WPA Security (Bad Idea - Just did it for test purposes)
B) Only have WEP security
So I'm guessing it's something to do with the WPA settings.
What you will need to do is first on the Livebox, press button 1 (for pairing) and then try and establish wireless connection on your laptop. Cut and paste the WEP key into Notepad and use this to enter into the login box when presented after wireless connection is successful. Not need to disable anything else. This worked for me.

So how can I get round this?
Have you tried it on WPA only security? Not all adapters support WPA but the majority should these days. If it's not working on WPA then just leave it on WEP only, it's not as secure but will put off most people who will try and connect.
