The noise margin improved alot when I disconnected all bar wires 2 and 5 from all the sockets. Went from around 9 to 20. I think it's having interleave that restricts to 8096.

Which speed test you using bootsbradford?

Have been using www.thinkbroadband.com, www.dslzoneuk.com and www.speedtest.net which are all putting it at about 3.3MB so that's better (though still much than what it was on the first day, and what it should be)

Your noise margin is quite low.

have you checked all the sockets including the master that only wires 2 and 5 are connected. These should be the same 2 wires in each socket.

How far away is the exchange?

I assume you use filters on each socket in use as well

Attainable download rate (kbps) : 12064

get around 6.3mb in speed tests[/img]

Having sat at 3MB for a few days, I'm today on 0.3MB!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, even slower than before I was upgraded.

It's been over 10 days now so I assume they will be able to do something about it now, though I'm not sure what. What can they do??

My speed dropped dramatically toinihgt to about 0.4mb, maybe there was a problem with the network

It is now back upto 6.5mb.

You can ask them to do a line test and ask them to check if your profile is still stuck at 2mb.
