hi when i try to connect it fails and this error message comes up

Looks like either an anti-virus program or virus/spyware is interfering from the error. It mentions the server as "000.0.0.0, that should also be pop.wanadoo.co.uk as in the account. Go into tools, accounts, properties of your account and check the servers tab. If it's 0's in there change it back and that should then work.
If however it gets changed back then it's either anti-virus software or an actual virus/spyware causing it.
thanks, i'll try it now, i have recently just used and antiadware program from google to wipe away all of the adware on my computer.The only problem now will be trying to recover it
