Wanadoo is not registered with the Telecommunications Ombudsman, but does sign up for arbitration via Cisas (COMMUNICATIONS & INTERNET SERVICES ADJUDICATION SCHEME). If you have a complaint and want to seek compensation via an independent adjudicator, you can go to Cisas (www.arbitrators.org/cisas) for arbitration and Wanadoo will abide by their ruling.
I am considering this option now as I have had more obfuscation and missed deadlines and unbelievably poor fault resolution from Wanadoo this week. It's been 3 months without connection now.
If anyone is interested in seeing if Cisas will adjudicate on behalf of all of us with this same problem at once, we could perhaps join forces (and split the effort). Thoughts?
2 months free? Better than nothing. I was told they'd "consider" reimbursement of the time my connection is down. Cheers.
So what's this ISPA report? Know where I can get any information on it? Or if they're taking submissions? I have a couple of choice examples they might be interested in hearing...
We emailed admin@ispa.org.uk detailing our problems attaching the letters that we sent to Wanadoo. We also wrote to the following address detailing the problem:
Internet Service Providers’ Association, UK
23 Palace Street
LONDON
SW1E 5HW
We got a swift reply and are now sending any correspondence to the ISPA as well. Hopefully things will happen soon.
