Joined Wanadoo in April and have useless support and performance ever since
Have been luckier than some according to these forums but have now been without service for a week and heard nothing but lies and interference from tech support
When i suggested that i wanted to cancel subscription, I was told that i would have to pay 6 months subs and they refused to consider compensation
Does anyone know if I can just cancel and send live box back and find another ISP, without facing legal action?
you should be able to leave since Orange have been unable to provide you with the service you are paying for. You'd probably have to prove that you did everything reasonable that Orange asked you to do, ie line tests etc. Best bet is to call up Ofcom etc and have a chat to someone there.

My Broadband was down for 5 and a half weeks first time. Then up for two now down again for over a week.
Trying to get out but told I have to pay a cancelation fee and the remaining premiums for the four months I still have of my 12 month contract with them.
I have made a total of over 30 phone calls to Orange, 6+ hours phone time.
Written complaints twice to the head office (1 recorded del).
3 complaints to Ofcom.
I want out so I can go to a provider that provides service but can't.
I shall never buy any Ornage service again and shall be telling everyone else i know not to either...........
Tell them a cock n bull story about their livebox being faulty and going up in flames causing you to burn yourself and they will s**t themselves and be happy to let you go
