I've had the "ppp server down" fault since yesterday.
I called tech support and was told it was a major national outage and I should just wait an hour.
Now, this board is hardly alive with people sharing ths same problem. Maybe they are all cut off from the internet. Or maybe there is no national outage.
I lost my broadband connection yesterday afternoon, now back on dial up again.
I think it could be a major problem, it's been mentioned in other sections on the board.
The status page never seems to be changed which makes it all a bit pointless really.

That's because, like me, quite a few have moved to another ISP.

Only got the Livebox up and running on Saturday - then it seemed to work fine on Sunday.
But since yesterday the laptop has said the connection is "excellent", but whenever I load up Explorer it says "This page cannnot be displayed".
I'm guessing from the postings above it has something to do with Orange broadband being down all over the place. But if someone out there thinks it's because I'm not doing something else properly do let me know - I'm new to all this, so therefore assuming it's something I've done wrong...
