I rarely take advantage of the upgrade offers, as my trusty Nokia 6300 did the job. This year I decided to upgrade when I received a cold call, from an Orange accredited company on 15th Jan 2013. I agreed to Dolphin 15.50, discounted to 10.50. After 2 weeks no phone arrived. I called 150 and asked what had happened. On checking I was told that I had in fact agreed to an additional phone and not an upgrade, which I had not. It also appeared that the original offer was stopped, with no explanation. I now agreed to have an upgrade, but this would now cost me 12.40, with the 20% discount I had built up by not upgrading at the end of my previous contracts on the usual tariff of 15.50. I was not happy, but agreed just to get the phone I had been expecting. Looking at the website, specifically upgrades, I see that he 10.50 is showing for the package I am now paying 12.50 for, after my loyalty discount. What the hell is going on. First I am offered that cost, then I am told that that offer was wrong, now I see that the original offer is there in black and white. Has anyone else had this problem? I did reflect my disgust in the feedback.
