At least once a week by livebox broadband speed drops to very low speeds. Today it started at 2650 kbps and has dropped twice already to 760 and now 544. the only remedy is to disconect the live box and reconnect then up goes the speed again. of course I have to then pair other pc's in the house and often have to validate my user/password. I'm so bored with this game, is it the livebox or just Orange, i'm thinging BT in future as they seem more with it. anyone any ideas? J
yes I do know that Orange uses BT and when I talked to Orange call centre they didn't know what LLU ment !!! I think that BT are probably more inclined to sevice their broadband customers, I have other premises where BT provide the sevice and the response to problems has been very good. I dread having to ring Orange, it's the nightmare of being passed around the call centre, watching my mobile minutes drain away !! J
Is the PSU running very hot or buzzing? I had a similar problem, orange replaced it, problem solved.
If customer support (sic) don't resolve the problem otherwise then log a complaint with http://www.ispa.org.uk/
This should be your escalation root, as for *all* ISPs if they are members.
Nobody should be with an ISP who isn't a member of the ISPA - so Talk-Talk customers are actually *really* worse off than Orange customers.
