I have the same problem too. Keep getting message that I have invalid name or password although I know I have put them in correctly. Same problem on desktop and laptop but can pick up mail using Thunderbird on my desktop. Does anyone know what's going on?
I'm getting it to. Just came here to check I hadn't been thrown out. This isn't the first time it's happened to me either, had the same thing a fair while ago and it wasn't fixed for 12+ hours.

Its every time the bunch of idiots change something,this must e the fifth time the E-mail access has been down this year,its past a joke now.
With an honourable company you would think they would let you know,but Orange just lie , customer services wont tell you anything,this is the last straw!!!!!!!!!!!
It is the same here, access to clear out the dross of spam mail was lost during the evening last night so the spam will be piling up again. Internet access went very slow for a short time and then I was refused access to the web mail. This time I have not tried to reset anything as the problem is clearly at their end. I wonder how long this episode will last?
Just had problems previewing the draft of my message on this site, so something appears to be up and it is not the quality of the service through Orange!

I'm changing to <a href="http://btbb.at/theside?LID=21">BT</a> very soon after been with FreeWandoonothingOrangeshiyte for far too long.
Don't expect anything better from BT, bunch of p******s.
Two things you can do, find an ISP who uses SquirrelMail for their webmail interface.
Two I know of, and use my self are PlusNet, & Orpheus Internet.
Find yourself a web/email hosting provider, doesn't have to be the same co as your ISP, & have your own domain, say timetec.me.uk, so you can have
anything-at-all@timetec.me.uk. Might cost you £60 for two years.
If you end up not happy with your hosting, you just move it somewhere else, & no need to tell everyone you've changed your email address again.

I've been getting this all morning. POP3 works, but I want to log in to check/delete my spam.
I have had the same problem all morning too, I keep getting a message "invalid username or password" although I am definitely putting these in correctly. It's a real pain as i'm away from home and unable to access my email. Had the same trouble for one day last month too. Anyone know what's going on?

It seems to be working again now....till the next time. If only they would post a message about the problem on their website so we know what's going on, together with some idea of when they are likely to fix it, then I wouldn't get so annoyed.

It appears that they have been working on the e-mail system - again! One of the issues that I have had is that old SMTP addresses have been cleared out and are no longer accepted. I had not updated one and after a period of time when nothing worked, only this one was left with the 'invalid log in'. It is perhaps good that they do sometimes work on the system. However, they never appear to have a clue when they work on the darned system, nor do they appear to have a clue as to what they are doing. Webmail was a total pain in the Orange over the weekend though it appears to be working again today. Mind you this site was having the vapours last week with 'forbidden' messages coming up. What makes the country so bad at technology?
