OK - I've been a customer since the Freeserve 56K dial up days, and have had about enough since Orange took over. Since the telephone "help" !?! desks won't give me the names of the people in charge (I'm going to complain to the top) I decided to check with Companies House for names of people to contact.
Guess what - Orange Broadband is:-
i) Late with it's accounts
ii) In the process of striking the company off the register.
Now, I'm a Tax manager in a firm of accountants - and this is not good. If this is, in fact, the same Orange Broadband comany that we are using (and I can't imagine a company the size of Orange letting a name such as that slip through) then when the strike off is complete, no-one has any recourse against the company.
Orange BB is a brand of France Telecom, r u sure about what you have quoted?

You seem to be correct Elhana, this apears to be a case of hijacking domain name for monetary puropse by Orange-broadband.co.uk....They dont know the defences of the Orange lawyers...the customers of Orange BB know them only too well!!!!

Try searching on 'Orange Home uk plc', the actual name for the company!! St Albains.
Incorporated in Jan 1995 and still going, late with the accounts but returns are all filed on time.
Previously wanadoo previously freeserve.
Orange broadband has no previous names, was incorporated only in 2003 (Probably by someone to stop Orange using the name), and is only a PRIVATE limited company, whilst Orange is a plc.
And you can take this as fact from a real accountant!
