I called Orange (Disconnections dept) to check the expiry date of my contract because I was considering moving to a new provider. (The network performance had been so bad over the past few months, especially in the evenings)
I was stupidly persuaded to renew my contract by Orange offering me a new router to replace my elderly Livebox and also they said they would remove a network usage cap. I was promised that this would significantly improve my connection speed.
Anyway, a new router has been installed but now I am struggling to even get a connection - ARGHHH!
I've just phoned customer services (0800 0790 420) and was told that I have to wait 22 days whilst my network profile is being build. What are they talking about??? Is Orange still expecting me to pay for no service whilst they do this? How can they build a profile when I can't even use it? Why didn't they warn me?
I am so mad with Orange - I feel as if I am being fobbed off & they don't care so long as they retain customers at any cost.
