Yes me too:
Task '****** Mail - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Same here, can't connect to email by windows mail. Can't get into the Orange webmail on the Orange site either.
I called their number, didn't have to talk to anyone, the recording said the webmail problem was a known issue...and their techs were working on it...
Same here too... getting this error message when opening Outlook Express -
The host 'pop.orangehome.co.uk' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
I can't access email through OE or webmail. This has happened too many times now since Orange took over. I don't remember any problem of this sort when it was Freeserve. I've had enough of it especially as I can get a cheaper broadband service from the likes of Virgin. Time to move I think.
Thought it was just me - cold comfort to see that others are having problems. Logged in today and sent one mail at 3pm. Then nothing but errors in Outlook -server not found. Cannot log in either to webmail.
Hope they resolve this quickly

I wish they could have a status on their website to let people know there is a genuine problem with a particular part of their service.

Could not agree more - I think that within reason we would all accept occassional problem
This is really getting more frustrating day by day - a couple of months ago, problems with my emails getting to people with hotmail accounts, now not receiving any.
Logged into the webmail and can see there are 5 emails in my inbox but can't open them there either.
What is going on and why does Orange not seem to be bothered at all about these email problems?
I have been with them from Freeserve beginnings but am seriously thinking of leaving - not that this would make a lot of difference to this ISP.
I must admit in many years with freeserve, then wannado then Orange I have had few problems with this email service.
Yet on those occassions it would be such good service if they could have a status on their website to let us know when there is a genuine problem.
I always think it is my fault as Im not an expert with technology! My son is at university and I go through all the technical checks and frustration and it stops my work. I only make a phone call when totally defeated.
Why not just post it on the website status? It could be like a regional weather service for the UK. Im not going to abandon ship after all these years. YOU can't imagine just how helpful this would be for those like me!!!!
