I'm getting really fed up with my livebox. Never had any problem till I got a new laptop with windows 7, since than every time I start internet explorer it goes to Sky broadband router. I switched off wireless internet on my computer, it's disabled and connected with wire and the problem still exists.Spent hours on the phone with Orange who reset my livebox but the problem still persist. If i unplug the cabel or restart the livebox than i might get internet connection, might not. I took back home my work computer last night after about 2 months (windows xp), it always connected wirelessly to my livebox without a problem and yesterday it just went to Sky broadband router. Even when I used cabel and for the whole evening I didn't have internet, nothing helped. Can anyone help? I just don't get it why it goes to Sky broadband router if I disabled the wireless internet completely and it's only connected by a wire. Thanks
Never had Sky, and because the same happened yest on work computer (which was connected to the livebox before so many times and has xp on it) we're just really p...d off. Asked for replacement livebox when we talked to Orange before but they just told us off badly saying that livebox doesn't need to be replaced.
Hopefully nothing....but at the moment we're trying to identify what is causing the problem because I've never known anything like this before.
It's possible that the Livebox you have has been recycled by 0range, that's not unusual most ISPs re-issue returned routers, and the person who used it before you had tried to flash it with different firmware.
