I could really do with some help as im stuck for choices of how to fix this really annoying problem.
Basically when playing any game on xbox live i am being randomly signed out with the message "disconnected from xbox live"
The times vary from five minutes to an hour but as you can imagine its so annoying when your top of the team and BAMM you get cut off !!! I play MW2 lots....
sometimes i get home from work at 6 and play for 2 hours. in that time i have counted 6 disconnections before now
Anyway i have tried numerous things including all the basic nonsense customer support ask you to do.
Ive changed filters
My modem is plugged into the main phone socket
i am using a wired connection
i have replaced all ethernet cables
i even tried my brothers xbox thinking mine may be faulty
i have had two line tests with no issues
everytime i phone Orange customer support they seem to want to go through with another line test which is crazy and must be costing the company loads with all these wasted lines test, if they just wrote on my account proper notes of whats going on maybe id get somewhere
but anyway after much moaning they sent me a replacement modem and even after that it is still not working
Sorry to waffle on but im so pi**ed bout this and the fact my dad has just tied us into another 18month i really wanna get it fixed
by the way we are on the basic bb which is unlimited but comes with the siemans gigaset wireless router.

Are you actually losing the Internet connection? There must be a logging feature within the router - I use a Netgear so unsure what the LiveBox has - that'll show whether it's having to reconnect.
The previous suggestion of turning off UPnP has solved many similar problems so is worthwhile trying.
Ive had this same problem but it only happens with MW2, i can be playing and at randoms times ill get booted off xbox live i dnt lose my net jst get booted and need to resign in
1. Go to your Livebox settings - 192.168.1.1 in address bar
2. Once in settings click on CONFIGURATION then click on ROUTER and you will see DMZ setup then you put your staic Xbox 360 ip address in there and click configure.
Hope that helps mate.
