I live in inverness and no broadband since wedensday!
when you phone the helpline you are made each time to check your router settings, and evautualy they admit there is a problem! but as i have been told several times it isnt oranges problem!
infact if you go into the Orange shop on high street abotu this probnlem they actualy say oh the engineer was out on thursday he couldnt fix it anotehr is expected on Monday! yet when you phone you are told it is being worked on!
i have asked for my MAC code! i have been told every day it will be resolved that day and it isnt! im so angry i have an online degree and have had to take things into work to submit!
this is terrible its all users with 01463 as there landline number! it might be a hardware fault but this is no excuse for 6 days of no service!
would also like to point out that they have been sending me texts for updates each time i phone for my update (which costs me money) i AM TOLD oh the update is we are working on it!
i mean come on Orange you are loosing customers here!
I live in Inverness too and still no broadband since wed. Spoke to the exchange in inverness/macdui and because it is only on Orange problem there is no problem at the exchange. They've had a lightning strike or antenna blown over which has caused this area specific break in broadband. It's oranges problem, not the exchange! Discussed getting my MAC code from Orange but because I'd only joined in nov I'd be liable to pay my remaining contract fee even if I cancelled it. Only if I'm without broadband for a month am I eligible to get out my contract early without paying it off. Watch out for them. If anyone gets online let me know!

Just complain to the ISPA & you'll probably get out free.
I FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF FOR SWITCHING FROM 02 LAST MONTH BECAUSE OF SPEED ISSUES. BUT I HAVE ANY SERVICE NOW SINCE ONE WEEK . WHY Orange IS ACTING WITH SUCH IRRESPONSIBILITY. WHY ARE THEY NOT ISSUING ANY STATEMENT REGARDING THIS SERIOUS DISRUPTION OF THE SERVICE . IS THERE ANY MEANS OF LODGING AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT AGAINST Orange TO OFCOM SO THAT THEY COULD ACT ON Orange?

Nope still not working. Nothing since 24th Feb.
Reading the above gave me hope and so I called the wife but it's still down. (Unless I need to restart / reset / buy a new router / offer a sacrificial lamb)
Orange ... fast replacing my usual expletives of choice.
