Started with freeserve, so I am a long standing user, advised to upgrade from my 8meg which i was happy with getting 2 to 3 megs, to 20meg home ultra, using livebox as was before, now only getting less than 1 meg, average 0.6meg, download about 100kbs.
Technical support just seems to go round with same answers, having seen other upgraders with same problems, are we all being capped on speed when we upgrade.
just how many of us in this same situation.
has anyone actually been able to get help that has given them a speed increase, after upgrade

You need to speak to the exec office and ask them to get somone called Matthew to set up a manual profile for you.
Otherwise you will be told to wait for the DLM to kick in, which could take weeks. A new improved DLM should be running in 2 weeks which supposedly will stop downgrading Orange customers, of which I think there are many in this situation of getting 1 meg profile after the DLM has performed its evil!
