hello guys nd gals, i posted a couple of weeks ago saying my ps3 wouldnt connect, fixed the problem with a good old factory reset. However my ps3 is running really slowly through wireless, i can occassionally log in with my PSN, other times it times out, downloading speed is incredibly slow. Ive tried moving the livebox closer, no luck and it used to work perfectly from where it is. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to download demos or videos. Im at my wits end, im going online at about 7:00pm anyone got any ideas. think i might swithc to Virgin when contracts up! I havent even attempted to try online games it would be crazy! any help would be greatly appreciated

Could try changing the channel number on the livebox, maybe inteference from another device nearby.

Hi there! I also have issues with my ps3 wireless to my livebox. when ive got my laptop and the ps3 wirelessly connected to the livebox both work fine. but when my younger sister switchs on her ipod touch the ps3 connection goes bad :S . i have told Orange about this but they didnt really understand me. all they said was for me to change the channel number to either '7' '9' or '11'. but im still having the same problems. im just wondering if you could help me or anyone else can?

is the ipod touch connected to the livebox? and by ps3 connection go bad, what do you mean? lag in online games? loss of wireless connection? low signal strength?

i mean my connection goes laggy even though i get 70% signal. as soon as my younger sister connects her ipod touch wirrlessly to the livebox, while the laptop is connected to the livebox my ps3 connection goes laggy during games.

Wireless (apart from the more recent .n standard) is not really capable of handling multiple wireless connections. I'd definately consider using a wired connection to the PS3 as wireless doesn't compare from a performance perspective.
