After being with Freeserve forever, then Wanadoo and now Orange....
Not brilliant is it? Roll on December, I shall then be able to move ISP.
One of main complaints is that Orange no longer carry the newsgroups (via the old fashioned OE 6), which is pants imo, what are you other Orange users... er....using?
Who's JohnM and does he have a solution Rosie?. Like you I always used to use the Freeserve newsgroups. Now that they seem to have disappeared I was using nntp.aioe.org but now that has died also. I've even tried freenews.netfront.net but this doesn't appear to let you post (only read).
So what's the deal?. IMO newsgroup support should be part of any ISP's package.
orange has discontinued newsgroups so there is nothing that can be done about this..................
cheers

Hi I use freenews.netfront.net, I just set up news in Outlook Express using that address and now have access to over 55,000 newsgroups give it a try I have had no problems here.
