I am getting intermittent broadband speeds, still on the 4 meg profile but pages can be sticky when loading. I guess I am in the good old 10 day of stabilisation period.
Now is that something that Orange need to invoke I wonder!
i.e. kick off the 10 day period in which the DLM even though still in the background is given a kick start to take another look. Who knows!
Being an ex-Orange sufferer, reading through this thread has reminded me how inept Orange are at implementing change.
If you search this forum from its inception, Orange have repeatedly failed to implement anything successfully, whether new product or an individual's upgrade, without unnecessary stress being inflicted on their customers.
It's obviously part of the corporate process within Orange that will never be eliminated.

Still on the 4 meg profile, but if my DLM works every 2 days, I should see the 8 meg profile in less than an hour!
One thing I have noticed, which I was not getting before or ever have on my line is thousand, sorry millions of received FEC errors.
This has been happening overnight! So maybe the DLM is sending stuff down my line!
I have never received such a large reported number of error like this. And with the pc off but the router on overnight, something is definitely happenin to my broadband line!
Will let you know when I am put onto the 8 meg profile......
Thanks, had a quick read, looks like nothing to worry about I reckon, probably because interleaving is on my line. As soon as it reaches 12.5 meg hopefully, the DLM will switch it off.
