I've been watching these posts for the last month as I am having the "common" speed downgrade problem and see a few replies from individuals claiming to be from the Orange response team.
Has following up these replies from the "Orange ResponseTeam"actually helped anyone out?
Just interested to see a) if they are truly what they say or b) someone independent and if a) whether it's actually resolved the issue.

I personally think the 'Orange Response Team' is a load of BS.

Well I had one of those responses from Jonathan and I contacted him & he has indeed progressed my problem and my speed issue seems to have been resolved.
So for me it's not BS but a genuine offer of assistance.
Hi Vlad. I understand your concern that this might be a scam and I too was reluctant to contact them. But I did on 15/12 (I was that desperate!) and got a fairly speedy response too (please see my update dated today's date on the subject "Moved to 20mb has slowed me down"). The person I spoke to patiently explained and reexplained where I didn't understand and spent a lot of time ensuring that I understood the "mechanism". He also put up with a lot of verbal "grief" I gave him (which upon reflection was unfair of me). I felt like I was being treated properly as a customer by someone who knew what he was talking about ( which is a big change for Orange!). And the good news to date is nothing has come back to haunt me "scamwise".
