All of a sudden the livebox stopped working, nothing had been changed or added to the system, turned it on 3 days ago, and allthough the lights come on, and the wireless part is operating, it wont connect to the internet, spent over an hour the first night with the so-called experts in India, swapping filters and cables etc, they ended up organising a line check, that was OK, then spent two hours on the phone the second night, going through all the same resets and re-boots etc (why?), still no good, then after the call finished, the box 'clicked' and started to work, great. Then turned on again today, and no connection again, back on the phone to India, yet more re-sets and re-boots, and it works again, what the f--k is going on? i am sure the box is at fault, but they won't replace it. If it happens the next time i turn it on, i am going to take the box down to one of their shops and ram it down the throat of the first staff member i see.
Being an electronic device with chips and circuit boards, when it's switched off in a warm state and if it's in a warm room which then cools down overnight, condensation may result which could affect its functionality.
Of course, there may be a totally different cause of your problem but try leaving the router on and see if the situation improves.

Just tell them only the power light is on; the others are off; they might send you an adaptor (in which case you tell them you've already tried a spare from a friend).
They'll have no choice but to send you a replacement.
Thanks for the response, the box is 3-4 years old & has allways been turned off & on when needed, with no probs, what 'adaptor' are you refering to?
The one that comes with the LiveBox (you know, either a black or white one, depending on which Box you've got; the black adaptor for the old Inventel LiveBox, and the white one for the mini version).
Still confused here Rick! mine is the 'old' Livebox i assume, the only adaptor i think you can mean is the ADSL filter? which plugs into the phone socket, mine are white by the way, and i have tried another allready. At the moment the box is still working, but i dar'nt turn it off, just in case it fails again.

Sorry CH; when I say adaptor, I mean the actual power supply that came with the LiveBox.
