So 9am this morning log on but cannot access ANY internet pages.
Everything seems ok with my PC ie connected to phone line etc
Contacted Orange who told me EVERYBODY on the Orange network ws affected so I expected this forum to be in meltdown but it would not!!!
There is no mention on any websites and more to the point no mention on Orange's website - I half expected to see a internet outage/service update message but nothing????????
Internet access has now resumed but I'm puzzled as to what happened and if it's likely to occur again???
It would appear that reading some earlier posts that it has happened to some of you previously and inputting a new DNS may solve the problem?????
It seems on 25 November an issue was reported where a small percentage of Ipstream customers were experiencing slow connection speeds. The problem was linked to a site that was suffering packet loss. At 18:00 on the same day, after work was carried out at the site, the engineer advised the issue was resolved.
would help if Orange put details up on the home page
Phoned got nothing but a message say they are aware of live box prblems, email them you just get an auto response saying you might get a response in 72 hours.
They do remind you that they stive to supply customers with the highest level of service, so I wondered if anyone had any experiance of a high level of service from Orange as I am interested to know what it feels like
Is it a warm comforting feeling?? from this website it seems at least rare.
From the lights on the live box the diagnostics show scenario 4, checked according to instuctions and the instuctions are to contact them ( easier than it sounds)
This is Day 3 has any one any ideas?
