This happened about 1.5 hours ago; up until then I've had no problems all day. Queries at both primary and secondary nameservers are being refused. This also happens when recursion is turned off.

Alternatively, configure your BB router to "automatically obtain DNS settings from ISP". This will update the DNS settings. The other new Orange nameserver is 193.36.79.100.
I think the reason I did not have this configured was because the local DNS resolver on the router appeared to have problems performing DNS requests.
I was advised to try other DNS servers and did - but to no avail.
Can ping IP addresses fine but unable to resolve www adddresses.
Have had not service from Orange now for over 48 hours and can't get through to their damn desk - hang on earlier for 10 minutes listening to distorted music and they cut the call.
Customer service - forget it! I have been a customer since this connection was freeserve but maybe not for much longer unless they get their act together. A page showing service status would be a good start - but this has been covered at length elsewhere.
