I was wondering if any of you had ever been in trouble with Orange about their 'fair usage policy'? I recently did for download 30GB over a month, this may sound a lot but when you think about it. It is not.
There are 5 of us in my house using Orange broadband, so that's a measly 6GB each per month roughly equal to 1 Game or 3 Movies.
What are your experiences with it and are you, like me, considering using Talk Talk instead due to their 80GB download limit?

I'm on home max and have been for 2 years, ulimited or so i thought, had a letter yesterday stating I had downloaded 58gig and this exceeded the policy and I would be capped so I phoned as there was no other detail.
"Unlimited" broadband has a rediculous usage policy, you can only download 5gig at peak times (6pm till 6am) for the month, if you exceed this you will be capped to 512k for 3 MONTHS! needlessw to say I asked for my MAC code straight away. Orange sort your act out this a a joke, that's nearly as low as the cap on mobile broadband. And before anyone asks I work for another major uk ISP as a technical trainer and have done for 4 years so I know a thing or two about available bandwidth etc
I've fallen foul of them too! I challenged the legality of selling a product as "unlimited" when it clearly is - and it took quite some time to get details from Orange as to when they begin to cap your account - there is nothing on their pages that actually details this. i will be moving shortly to another provider as I am not impressed with them at all!
