I am a regular World of Warcraft player and have been experiencing constant issues for almost a month now making the game unplayable.
I am now very technical myself however after investigating with Blizzard (who run the game) and running a pathping to their servers I have be told that packets of data are being lost between my PC and their server which I should report to Orange.
So far I have emailed Orange twice and called Orange twice, I have gotten no response to emails and when calling I get someone who appears to have no idea or understanding of what the issue is either asking for speed tests (which isn't the problem) or they try to help me connect an Xbox/PS3 to my livebox (which again I'm not trying to do).
I have little confidence that the call centre staff in India have enough knowledge to help with my issue. I am posting here as a last attempt to find some help as I have seen some Orange ppl posting here.
I have had no issues with my connection for the past 3 years however the recent drop in service is no acceptable and I will soon be looking at changing ISP.
I too am experiencing the same problem while playing the same game.
I have had endless troubles with Orange and their terrible customer service.
I think the 'lag' is caused by the telia.net routing, not sure if this is the case, but I have very little faith in Orange correcting the problem due the their incompetence.
Exactly the same problem that i have been having -- they ended up saying it was a conjested BT exchange causing all the problems,,, so i have my MAC code, and i am moving to a LLU supplier.... ( wish me luck )
