I have been with Orange and their predecessors since broadband was invented.
Last December was going to go with o2 (now Sky) but they temped me with a new contract 6 months free and then £12.77 for six months.
Looking at my new bill it was £26.33 on enquiry I was told an email and letter was sent out mid July to tell me that my monthly was going up to £20 and giving me the chance to cancel, I assured them I never received either, they then changed their story and said it was only a letter, this is not the first time this has happened they seem to have a history of lost letters.
Why would I not reply when I could get the same service from o2 (now Sky) for £7.74.
They told me they could do nothing and if I cancelled they would charge me £50.
They have now lost me as a customer and I will be putting my wife who is with Orange mobile on another provider. I am also seeking legal advice.
They have totally lost it as I have now signed up for o2 (now Sky)
On legal advice I sent a letter to Orange head office recorded delivery and today had a phone call from an execitive who is cancelling remaining contract charges and giving me a rebate of over charged ammounts.
