Im having to use my phone as a modem to post this.
Is anyone else getting the "page cannot be found" error?
I rang Orange and the automated system told me there aware of a problem like this, but they dont know the cause or the fix time.
Ive tried using OpenDNS as it seemed to be stuck on "Looking up www.google.com..." but it didnt work
My @ light is solid and the livebox config says its connected, but i cant browse any pages.
Lastnight i also got it saying "Invalid ADSL authentication" and also, i got "PPP Server Down" come up once.
Has anyone managed to bypass this error yet? Even at HSDPA speeds its still slow to browse the web on my phone!
ORANGE making loads of money again from there non existent tech support,there support line claimed no problems however after going through 5 minutes of recorded rubbish wanting to TALKTALK to a techy another recorded message said we are aware you cant connect and we dont know when you will be able to,no mention on there web site,Orange GET A SERVER STATUS PAGE UP like all Reputable isp's.
Some one said that they are bottom of the list, I am surprised that they did that well!
Evasion, replies that fail to answer any complaint points, answers that avoid any response to the question and even wrong responses (in triplicate) and false allegations, crap broadband speeds and failing e-mail, now who could that be, why that'll be Orange or are they now Lemon?

I don't why I am still with them. I was originally with Freeserve and was always worried that I would be without an ISP if I changed. I assume they will be even worse when they merge with T-Mobile.
Been having this issue since Wednesday night and it's still down, I'm using a wireless connection right now that belong to someone else in the house ( they use Sky), is anyone else still having this issue?
Well, almost a week later and my connection is STILL down.
Haven't bothered to call them yet since I've dealt with them before and I know I'd be wasting my time.This is obviously related to the outage last Thursday as that's when it went down, anyone have any ideas why my connection might still be down? I live in Devon, but I haven't been able to find anyone else in the area that uses Orange to see if they've had similar issues.

Right so what are you using, siemens router livebox, speedtouch? You have to find out what the error message is - i.e: invalid authentication, ppp server down, link down, error 691, need to be exact to identify the issue, are you wired or wireless, please specify so i can help.
Does anyone know if Orange have sorted this yet ? - i have started getting this every time. If i refresh my homepage "Google.com" comes up after a couple of clicks but it's still annoying ...
