Having the exact same problem since about 23:30 last night. Says connected but no website loads and cannot ping any address. Have tried using OpenDNS, but still doesnt work so its got to be something to do with connection. Have reset livebox, still doesnt work even though its able to validate my username and pass when I had to set it up again.
Having exactly the same problem and have contacted friends who use Orange and they are having the same problem. It started with me last nigth too. Phoned up Orange who say "8am 10 September - We are NOT experiencing any technical problems at the moment.....!!!!!!!!!".
I am using dial up too to get here. Thank goodness I kept my modem and have a second telephone line.
I've got a usb dongle and it appears to connect, but I can't view anything. It's been the same since around 2am this morning.
Spent over £10 on hold to customer support, couldn't get hold of anyone.
I suspect it may be a dns problem, I booted my laptop in linux instead of windoze and it works fine.
Will go back to windoze and look again, (ping gogle.com, no reply, will try 74.125.127.100 now i know googles ip address)
If you phone 0844 873 8586 . Option 1 then 5 etc . You eventually get a message saying they are aware of a page cannot be displayed issue and that they have no time frame on a fix. Don't think it's a dns issue, as ip's don't work! Well not like last time anyway!
Hi, I only got all my livebox equipment earlier this week and managed to get it all set up but now I cannot connect to internet. How can I tell if it is an issue with my stuff or account or if it is the same problem that is affecting everyone?

If your @ light is lit, your connected to the box but you can't load any page, then it's probs the same problem.
Type cmd in the run box / search box depeding on your windows version. Then type ping 192.168.1.1 . If you get a response (not request timed out) then your connected to the livebox.
Then try ping www.google.com or the ip posted before. If you get request timed out your livebox is not connecting.

This is weird, it's working in linux with the same dongle & still not working in windoze.
The only differences I can see are;
DNS windows 193.36.39.100 &.101. linux 193.35.132.165 &.164
my ip address in linux starts with 10, i think it started with 195 or something in windoze.
Maybe linux just figures out whatever they've changed, and sorts itself out.
At least I'm connected, as this is the only connection I have.
Hopefully they'll sort it soon, been with Orange since March and this is the first time I've had a problem.
