I've recently been having a poor connection. I have a lag status bar in IRC that I've been following and it often goes from extremes of max to min... today has been the worse day by far though.
I'm not exactly what lag means (traffic taking up my bandwidth!?) but usually it sits around 30 or 40. Earlier today it was peaking at just over 5000. But over the past half an hour or so, it's been rising and rising and right now it's sitting at the title, Average lag: 76304 ms.
It took four minutes to load the front page of this forum up! MSN won't log in... it's driving me mad! I've of course tried resetting the PC and the router. Though someone recommended a 'factory restore' on the router, worth doing? It feels like someone might of hacked into my wireless and is downloading infinite stuff lol, possible?
Now you're asking! Haven't known my username or password for years lol... still don't even get that far. Have tried it a couple of times now after putting in my phone number and all I ever get is...

The system is currently busy. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider.
Just went on speedtest.net... I'm on an 8Mb line, which I was getting on wired. Wireless seemed to max out around 6.5Mb, but right now I'm running at 1.16Mb!
You could try doing a "factory restore" but this will revert every personal setting you've made back to default including any userid+password.
Usually you need to stick a straightened out paper clip or similar device into a small hole at the back of the router and keep it pressed in until all the lights go out.
Hi yeah got in there, was there anything specific worth noting in there? Or was that just to determine much username, which I have now to remember my password lol...
