<Livebox Issues? ~ What router do you have to replace your livebox?

If anybody here has replaced there Orange 8mb livebox with something else, please could you link me to it. My livebox keeps resetting and just not playing ball. But i can't get rid of it because im not the home owner .

Is the LiveBox registered to you ? - if not, how did you get hold of it ? - just need some background that's all.

no its in my mums name but i am also on the account. But it has my mums username and password in the box.

I'm not sure if any other router will work on your telephone line. I could be wrong, but if you do get another (router), just input your mum's details when it asks you (i.e. username and password).
I'd borrow one just in case, but why don't you ask your mum to ring Orange and tell them to send you a replacement Box ? that's what I did when mine was playing up and it came within a few days. All working fine now.

ok thanks for the advice. I have rung up and asked for a new router but they refused and just told me to do a factroy reset and they also wanted to send me a new adaptor. im pretty sure its not the adaptor. So Im gonna ring up again soon and say iv'e tryed everything you said but it still doing the same, and i might say something like if you dont send me a new box i'll leave Orange. BT give you a new homehub.

Yep; that's exactly what they do; they'll send you an adaptor (even though it's got nothing to do with it ) - after receiving the adaptor, tell Orange the LiveBox is still not powering up.
They should send you a replacement after that. BTW, there is a free phone number you can use = 0800 980 1494 - good luck
