Got a spare Box from a friend; tried using it on my line, but it doesn't seem to be detecting broadband.
I've got a Box myself (which works fine); the only difference is that his box is an older model (the bigger one, as opposed to mine which is the mini version).
Are the LiveBoxes specific to a certain telephone line ? - I thought all that was needed was a the security code on the bottom of the Box ?
Also, haven't got the installation CD that came with the friends Box; tried using mine (the one that came with *my* Box), but nothing happened.
You need to register the <a href="http://www.maccodes.co.uk">MAC</a> for the second phone line.
The internet should work - of course you have to enter user name and password.

Thanks, Keith, but what about the installation process ? - I don't have the CD. The only one I've got is for the mini LiveBox; will that work on the older model of the Box ?
