My phone was stolen 4 months ago, as I await a replacement from my insurance company, I've accumilated a £200 phone bill for line rental. Upon calling Orange (2 months in a row) to settle it they told me they can't reactivate my phone with out a new sim card, and therefore can't take payment (something that has to do with the account being acctive or not acctive) not sure.
So I call today and the guy tells me "I should consider myself lucky" that they haven't turned me into a collection agency! They won't reactivate unitl the full balance is paid, even though the prior arrangement was to do monthly payments once my replacement phone arrived. I was not allowed to talk to a supervisor and once again told I should consider myself "lucky".
4 months, no phone, no service £200 bill!
How's that for customer service. Maybe these departments should coordinate there data. Could maybe over look that, all the people were so rude, after being transfered at least 4 times.
