I'm thinking of moving to Orange Broadband Free Home Starter as money is tight and I have a Orange mobile that qualifies for the Free service.
What do I need to do (ie. lessons learnt from others) to assure a perfect start up.
I have spoken to Orange today 08/06/09 (Irish Eddie) who seemed to work very hard to sell me the service considering its free, I know its linked to the home phone package but we're on a similar one now and it costs us bugger all as we're out all day.
I interrogated him about the switch timing re. leaving Madasafish at the end of the contract, obtaining a MAC, premium phone line for customer service, Orange's promised speed and Orange's POOR feedback and customer service .
I asked the same question in different ways and to be fair he answered consistently and reassuringly.
What else should I do to make the switch successful ?
You already know that Orange aren't rated highly particularly in the customer service area so unless you are quite competent in IT/network/router set-up skills so that you can reason with CS/TS knowledgeably then Orange isn't really for you.
