I'm got the same problem. It first happened last night and I couldn't get beyond this odd looking page. It seemed to have corrected itself today but having returned to my Email account I'm getting this page again. My wife has no problems with her account on the same computer.
Having problems this week too. Had trouble logging on earlier in the week and now have no boxes on the left side to delete and am unable to click on 'sent' 'folders' or 'deleted' etc.
Can't forward emails either. Is possible to delete from the email itself, but of course that allows the next one in the list to open which I don't want if it is spam.
Hi, I am having exactly the same problem whiterabbit. It is very annoying. I have both a laptop using vista and a pc using windows 98. It is doing it on both so I know it's not a problem there. I also have a very up to date virus protector which says everything is fine. I wonder if it will just miraculously fix itself soon. I hope so! Grrrrr
Hi all, I have just found this site after looking for an answer to this exact problem. Funny thing is I registered and then got a message saying that I will get an email to confirm LOL.
Luckily emails seem to have righted itself now, but God was I worried. I knew it wasn't my PC as it was doing the same on my laptop, but very worrying all the same, especially when my Orange email is my main one and I need it for work, etc.
Anyway, hello everyone, sorry to just jump straight in like this. Sometimes it is just nice to know your not the only one with a problem isn't it
Yes I agree it is nice to know you are not alone! It all seems well this morning. However, I think I will look at using anothe e-mail account for some things and keep a separate list of all my contact addresses just in case. Thanks everyone.
the problem resolved itself yesterday afternoon but has come back and again have this useless screen with black dots etc.....perhaps someone from Orange could comment.
This is my first post and am doing so out of sheer frustration with Orange.
I have this same problem of 'dots' and large script and cannot access my webmail. The same problem has been intermittent over the last 48 hours but now appears to be permanent.

Nigel and everyone else suffering from this problem,
I've just stumbled across this excellent site after a frustrating few days trying to fix the same White Screen Disease. In desperation I tried an Orange help line (0844 873 8586), navigated several menus, and ended up talking to a nice lady somewhere on the Sub-Continent. She said it was a known problem, and they were working on it . . .
BUT, the good news is, while we're waiting we can get emails via
It cured itself then today back to problems again. I do sometimes get the impression that Orange don't want us old Freeserve customers. They earn nothing from us do they? Last year I had a couple of months of being unable to access my account and had to resort to the web2mail thing but unfortunately I couldn't get to my contacts from there. I have now printed out my whole contacts book so if it happens again at least I have the email addresses to use.
Point is, we shouldn't have to go through all that palarver should we?
I expect it will sort itself out again given time, but it is no less annoying
