I have a broadband account with Orange. My email is still freeserve. I have recently moved house but have kept the Orange account going at the orignal address.
I have Virgin broadband at my new address. I have kept the settings on my computer so that I can receive the Orange emails at my new address. But unfortunately I cannot send any emails.
The settings are exactly the same. Is there anything I can do? Why cant I send emails but receive?
Because I want to keep my old freeserve email address, I thought that the pop and smtp settings should be through freeserve. If I change to ntlworld, it asks me for a password that I dont have!
It rejects my log in with those settings. If I leave the incoming server as freeserve the mail comes in. If I change the outgoing to ntlworld.com, outlook cannot log on to the outgoing server.....
Hi there, I work for Orange and might be able to help.
If you wish to use your Orange email address with another Internet Service Provider (ISP), you would need to use Orange's mail server details for your incoming mail, but the outgoing server details provider by your new ISP.
