Hi. For the life of me i can't seem to connect any of my nintendo consoles. e.g DS, Ds lite and the new DSi. I have connected my daughters wii and my PSP with no problems. I have done what it says to connect but nothing. Any help anyone please.
Im sorry to tell ya mate but trying to connect the DSi is gonna be hell.
I got my wii and DS lite connected within 5 minutes by simply choosing WEP and entering the key (it will do the rest itself). The DSi has horrible internet connectivity. Even the nintendo support couldnt help me get it online. The lite is a much better console.

I have actually done it today. Don't ask me how LOL. I turned off my firewall on my router and on the pc. I then put in profeser layton game and went to the connection method in the game. I followered the instructions and for some reason it connected. I then went back to the firewalls and turned them on again. It still was connected.I logged off the game and went to update the DSi and it still worked. I did put my router to wep only and not wep/wpa setting. so I guess it was the setting on the router that stopped me connecting. I still can't get the ds lite connected though.
Hi, I know this is old but I had issues today and may be able to help.
I tried everything I found on google to connect the dsi with no luck, I disabled the firewall and changed to wep only, it didn't work but did stop my laptop and everything else from working because they use wpa... so anyway...
I found something interesting on yahoo questions, someone said that connections 1, 2 and 3 are wep, 4, 5 and 6 are wpa, so, I changed the livebox to wpa, used connection 4 on the dsi (advanced settings), put in my wep key, pressed button 1 on the box, prayed to God and hit test connection, it didn't work but I hit try again and it did!
Did the same thing then with the other one we got for my mother for xmas and it worked first time!
Hope this at least helps some of you because after 20 goes going down the wep road I started losing the will to live!
