I have had a Livebox for some time now but havent had it properly connected to my new laptop or PC.
I had it on an old laptop and it worked when through cable connection. BUt not Wireless.
Now i have tried gettikng it on my dads PC and my laptop (Sony Vaio) but to no avail.
I cant do anythink and all i have is the box with a continuos light over the 'fast-forward' sign bit. (two triangles) and after resetting all lights are on and nothing happens still!
What process did you use for resetting the livebox?
It is usually easier to get a wired connection to work and this can be used to check/adjust settings to get a wireless connection to work.
Process for connecting wireless is as pluggy suggests, put your livebox into pairing mode by pressing button 1 on the livebox, this gives you 10 minutes in which to connect for the first time. On your laptop, then search for the wireless network usually livebox-****. Enter WEP key that is printed on the label on the bottom of the livebox.
If this doesn't work, use a wired connection to the red port on the livebox, wait a few minutes or reboot, then enter 192.168.1.1 in your Internet Browser and see if the page loads. If it does not, in a Command Prompt type ipconfig /all and paste the results here.
