I've been using Broadband for years, and recently witched to Orange from Demon. So set up the Livebox and got two Windows Laptops and a Linux ne talking to the Livebox quite happily through the wireless.
Then, yesterday, after having used the wireless earlier in the day I couldn't reconnect. NONE of my machines can connect save through wires.
I've been through the scripts with Orange Help, I've done a Factory Reset and still machine sthat did connect yesterday, do not connect today.
They can see the Livebox in the list of available networks, I've reset the Security code, hell I've even taken off all security and no matter how flashy the light after pressing button 1 no joy.
Try going through the ranges. Close ones usually have little effect.
What type or error messages are you receiving?

I don't get an error message, all I get is a timeout on the connection, though one of the laptops now does NOT get offered the Livebox in "available networks"
Possiby coincidentally the other Orange ivebox popped up again.
So even though the wireless adaptor is on the System Config list of connected devices.
I;ve switched the ranges.
Pressed button 1 and tried connectig repeatedly.
Still not f***ing working.
Getting hacked off. I know if I phone up then all I'l get is the sodding script from folk who don't even understand the concept of cut and paste of the WPA key from a file on a memory key/
Interference ?. Have you tried the laptops right next to the livebox to get the strongest signal ?. Could be somebodies new Christmas present screwing it up.

Decided to abandon the Livebox for wireless.
I set up my old Zyxel Pretige ADSL/Router not to do DHCP and to have an IP address in the range and I'm using it for wireless and, as it is connected to the Livebox the Livebox is now a dumb modem/VOIP device
Hopefully that will be an end to the Livebox vagaries. We'll see when more people log in tonight
