I have just bought a Belkin "Wireless G universal range extender" (model F5D7132), in the hopes of extending the wifi range of my Livebox Inventel to include a nearby annex (twenty yards away from main house). The Belkin instructions say "autoconnect will work only if the wireless router or access point has security disabled".
My question: How do you disable security on the Livebox? I tried doing so, but the Livebox apparently won't let you connect to the Internet without that 26-character alphanumeric code printed on the bottom of the machine.
I am in France, but don't see why that should make any difference.
