Oh what fun and games I have been having over the last 2 weeks.
Been on Home Max for a year with goods speeds and an 8Mb connection.
2 weeks ago the broadband and second line went down.
Spent ages on the phone to all the different Roy's? that they have in India.
Couldn't get any real resolution (No surprise there) eventually told me that for some reason the line was disconnected by BT and when they re connected it they didn't enable Broadband, they have put in a new order and broadband will be back on in 5 days.
Then a few days later they killed the home phone, now I am having to phone them on my mobile (Not the Orange one as there is no signal were I live) I have now spent over £30 In mobile calls to them.
They now say for some reason the line was "ceased" (Who did it know one knows) but they have put in a new order for a line and it will take 5 days
That should be tomorrow, for some reason the broadband came back on on Saturday (thats how I am posting now) but both phone lines are dead.
Anyone know why the line would have been "ceased" and by whom.
Are BT playing games with Orange customers, are Orange incompetent idiots.
Many weeks later and finaly I am back on. Not through Orange though, the new line they put in had a new number, it had no broadband capability and wasn't ex-directory like the last one was. within 5 hours of it being connected I was getting the nutter sales calls.
They ended my contract 6 months early and I went back to BT.
