<Livebox Issues? ~ Wireless connected but page cannot be displayed

Too many hours have been spent on this.. anyone who can help will go to heaven. My wired connection is fine. My wireless says connected but internet is saying page cannot be displayed.
When I try loading the Orange cd and click hook up wireless connection i do not get to the password entering stage, it tells me poss cause may be firewall - however all windows and livebox firewall is off. i think it must be something else.
I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with internal wireless - it works fine picking up other wireless connections!! Please, please advise..
yes i have.. followed all those instructions. wondering if it is something to do with my wireless zero configuration service settings? or other settings? strange that it says connected so they are talking to each other it seems...
Go into your network connections, look for the wireless connection which should show as connected. Right click it and choose status. In the window select the support tab.
What does the address type and IP address show as?
