Hi Chrissy. You are not alone. Have the same problem here. Have spent 3 hours trying to resolve the problem thinking it was our pc settings at fault, only to find that it must be the Orange server. Glad i came across your post.
I can get on now with the weekend break and hope Orange resolve their problem soon.
I have had the same problem since Friday. Some emails I am sending are reaching their recipients but none are coming in. The guy at Orange would not acknowledge it was an Orange server problems but wanted to run through diagnostics on my PC. I take it (I am no expert) that this would be a waste of time as others are experiencing the same problems? But I am surprised there are not more people complaining if it is a general problem? Any advice gratefully received. Is it a "we will sort it on Monday morning" type problem?
I've been receiving spam for many years now, but mid day on Friday it all stopped! Since Friday I haven't received any emails at all, neither online or to my harddrive. Really frustrating because I rely on my emails!2 1/2 days and still no emails! AHHHHHH!
I can send emails fine, as everyone seems to be able to above, but no emails come through
I find it truely ironic that as an o2 (now Sky) customer I can still receive emails sent to my wanadoo.co.uk email address .....I downloaded 2 this morning into Outlook.
Perhaps that's the solution for all of you who can't download your emails

Thanks for the update, Tony. If only Orange help desk had been able to say so last night, after 2 days of the problem they were still acting as if it was individual users' PCs that were at fault!

Same problem. I have tried logging on but I get a message saying that they do not recognise my e-mail address. I tried ringing Customer Support and they do not have my address on their server! What is happening at Orange!? I am using the old freeserve system. I can't access even through webmail. Can anyone help?
