I am going round in circles with the 'concerned helpdesk' who insisted the fault was with my laptop for ages until finally admitting the problem lies with them.
I can access MSN messenger and some of my favourites, so am definitely connected, but any new website just hangs: 'waiting'
Its driving me mad, I have spent 5 hours and 40 mins on the phone to the helpdesk at a cost of 31.54 so far and they dont know what's wrong with it.
And it takes half an hour to be put thru to the escalation team who are equally foxed
And they dont call you back when they say they will
And they call my landline instead of my mobile when I've told them there's no phone on the landline.
As they haven't provided you with a service for 8 weeks you have the right to cancel.
This is regardless of any remaining contract.
Ring them and ask for your MAC code which must be provided within 5 working days BY LAW.
Don't listen to all their bull about being tied in a contract if they start as contracts work both ways, also by law.
If they haven't provided you with a MAC withing 5 working days then contact ISPA who whould get things moving.
Also inform Orange that they are breaking the law if they mess you about.
Time and time again this robbing company fail to provide but people have rights.
