Having spent an hour yesterday trying to sort out my Dad's connection problem (basically, he can no longer sign into his email account, but can access his emails via Incredimail), I was cut off!!!!!
Does anyone have an e-mail address as he now wants to abandon Orange in favour of another server.
Seems strange that he can access emails via Incredimail. Where can't he sign into his email account? Is it via the website ? If so has he tried clearing all cookies and temporary Internet Explorer files. Is it via Outlook or Outlook Express? If so other posts on this forum advise how to set up the pop3 and smtp servers.
I would also check the spelling of the email address and password, which appears to be correct in Incredimail, in case it's become corrupt in Outlook, or been entered incorrectly elsewhere.

If he wants to cancel. or migrate to another provider he has to do it by phone by contacting the broadband support team on 0844 873 8586, or 0844 871 0079 if he's on a Starter package.

Yes, we got as far as deleting all cookies although when we try and sign in via the Orange web page it says we have to have cookies enabled. I AM CONFUSED. We have tried through outlook express, but so far to no avail. If anyone knows of anything else we can try, I would be more than grateful to give it a shot. We keep coming on round to the same sign in page. And we have been talked through deleting temporary files before we were cut off. Thanks for your time.
