I switched to Orange 2 months ago from BT which i had a good solid 5+ mbps Connection. With Orange im lucky if i get 2.5 Mbps. I have tested my line all day my worst result was 410kb/s down and my best 3889kb/s. My connection is rubbish for Using my xbox live. I have noticed my ASDL_type is set to interleave what does this mean?

Ihave spoke my Orange tech suport for half n hour and im not getting anywhere.

I can't understand why Interleave is on, SNR; attenuation and errors are all reasonable good, unless of course you are getting disconnections ?

I have interleave on with SNR in the 30's.

no disconnections, just low connection which is up and down all day

I have the same problem as the last post. The speed of the connection varies throuhgout the day. It has gone as low as 44kb/s. I have rang Orange customer services but they are useless. I cannot wait to change isp because since they took over Wanadoo things have gone from bad to worse.

I would never use them as a mobile phone company and never again as an internet provider, which i didn't have much choice. Crap company.
