For instance, if you use Orange.co.uk or a program like Outlook Express to access your email account, then you'll have difficulty viewing your account or sending emails on these days. Don't worry though, it won't affect you receiving any emails, as they'll be stored and available when the system is back up and running. Access to our online member centre will also be affected so you won't be able to view or make changes to your account, either online or on the telephone with our customer service teams. We're sorry if this causes you any problems and we hope to have everything back to normal by midday Tuesday 8th July.

I assume we shall still be able to access the internet or am I being over optimistic? Also it is not clear whether the service is down for that period or working intermittently like it normally does.

We should just think ourselves very fortunate that Orange have actually communicated, in advance, something that is relatively important to its customers.

Either it's back up and running or it didn't down as planned from 9pm last night because I'm receiving emails this morning into OE
